Spitfire – legendární stíhací britský letoun je krásný. Prakticky všechny plastikářské firmy ho mají ve svém výrobním programu . Před čtyřmi roky uvedla na trh svůj nový model také firma KP- Kovozávody Prostějov a to ve verzi Mk.Vb a MkVc. Na první kulometné verze Mk.Ia jsme si museli počkat až do dnešních dnů. Nový model Spitfire Mk.Ia právě přichází do prodeje a je se na co těšit. Stavebnice je vyrobena z kovových forem a navazuje na předešlé verze. Doplněna je o zcela nový rámeček s novým kulometným křídlem , rozdílovými díly pro verze s dvojlistou vrtulí a také obsahuje neobvyklou asymetricky umístěnou přídavnou nádrž pro verze Mk.IILR , kterou v prodeji můžete již brzy očekávat také. Krásně čisté průhledné díly obsahují také kabinu s plochým vrchem středového dílu překrytu kabiny ranných verzí. Nové plastikové díly ze středně šedého plastiku jsou čisté , jemně negativně ryté bez jakýchkoliv kazů .
Kontrolní stavba zdokumentovaná na pár fotografiích neodhalila žádný problém, trochu tmelu bude vyžadovat zadní přechod křídla do zádi trupu, kde je cca 0,3mm drobná „škvírka“. Já ji zalil hustším vteřinový lepidlem a povrch začistil debonderem. Celý model se lepí úžasně jednoduše , prakticky dokonalý vnitřek kokpitu včetně odlehčovacích dírek v přepážkách potěší nejednoho příznivce tohoto krásného stroje.
Nová stavebnice patří k tomu „top“ co lze dnes sehnat na téma Spitfire v měřítku 1/72. Určitě potěší všechny zájemce o jednoduchý , akurátní a stavebně pohodový model této stíhací legendy.

Spitfire – the legendary British fighter is beautiful. Virtually all companies engaged in the production of plastic models have it in their production program. Four years ago, the company KP-Kovozávody Prostějov also launched its new model in the Mk.Vb and MkVc versions. We had to wait for the first machine gun version of the Mk.Ia to this day. The new Spitfire Mk.Ia model is just coming on sale and there is something to look forward to. The kit is made of metal molds and builds on previous versions. It is supplemented by a completely new frame with a new machine gun wing, different parts for versions with a double-bladed propeller. It also contains an unusual asymmetrically placed additional tank for the Mk.IILR version, which you can expect on sale soon as well. Beautifully clean transparent parts also contain a cabin of early versions. The new plastic parts made of medium-gray plastic are clean, finely negatively engraved without any defects. The inspection structure documented in a few photographs did not reveal any problem, a little putty will require the rear transition of the wing to the stern of the fuselage, where there is a small 0.3 „small crack“. I poured a thicker second of glue on it and cleaned the surface with a debonder. The whole model is glued amazingly simply, the practically perfect interior of the cockpit, including the relief holes in the bulkheads, will delight many fans of this beautiful machine.
The new kit belongs to the „top“ that can be found today on the theme of Spitfire in 1/72 scale. It will surely please all those interested in a simple, accurate and structurally comfortable model of this fighter legend.
