SF-260 je opravdu parádní letadlo a jsem rád, že KP nám nabízí výběr pěkných stavebnic v měřítku 1:48 a 1:72! Když jsem našel fotky N260DP, věděl jsem, jak bude vypadat můj model v měřítku 1:48. Bylo nutné provést některé úpravy: potřeboval jsem jinou vrtuli, tak jsem ji navrhl podle obrázků a vyrobil na 3D tiskárně. Zadní část kabiny je celkově průhledná a vypadá trochu jinak. Musel jsem odstranit vzpěry, které tuto oblast označují, a vyleštit ji. Nakreslil jsem oranžové a šedé linky a grafický soubor poslal Danielu Brenterovi z Brent-Air-Decals ( https://www.brent-air-decals.at/ ), který mi vytiskl vynikající arch obtisků. Chtěl jsem ukázat svůj model v letu, tak jsem přidal dvě figurky z resinu od CRM ( https://www.cr-models.com/ ). Abych je dostal dovnitř kokpitu, musel jsem je také upravit. Na vnější straně jsem podle fotografií přidal několik antén. Zvláštní poděkování patří Michaelu Patlinovi, který mi poskytl další fotografie této černé krásky! Model byl natřen štětcem a emailovými barvami od Revellu. Model jsem přestříkal lesklým lakem od Mr.Hobby. Pozdravy z Německa! Thomas Brückelt
The SF-260 is really a cool looking plane and I am happy that KP offers us a choise of nice kits in 1:48 and 1:72! When I found pictures of the N260DP, I knew how my model in 1:48 shall look like. Some modifications were necessary: I needed another propeller, so I designed it according to pictures and made it with my 3D printer. The rear part of the canopy is overall clear and has no dark sun protection on the top. I had to remove the struts, which mark this area and polished it. I was drawing the orange and grey lines and sent the graphic file to Daniel Brenter from Brent-Air-Decals ( https://www.brent-air-decals.at/ ), who printed an excellent decal sheet for me. I wanted to show my model in flight, so I added two resin printed figures from CRM ( https://www.cr-models.com/ ). To get them inside the cockpit, I had to modify them, too. On the outside I added some antennas according to the pictures. A special thanks to Michael Patlin, who provided me some more pictures of this black beauty! The model was painted with brush and enamels from Revell. I sealed it with gloss varnish from Mr.Hobby. Greetings from Germany! Thomas Brückelt
